Tamil Nadu: Myanmar’s Honorary Ambassador J. Ranganathan said that Artificial Intelligence (AI) has great potential to enhance creativity.
On Thursday, the Department of International Relations at VIT University organized an international seminar titled “Digital Dream Environment – Youth Leading the Way in Literacy, Creativity, and Virtual Expressions.” Organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, the seminar was chaired by VIT Vice President Shankar Viswanathan. Myanmar’s Honorary Ambassador in Chennai, J. Ranganathan, participated as a special guest and said:
Today’s students can create great music and movies on their laptops or smartphones. Creativity is not just a tool for efficiency. It does not replace creativity. On the contrary, it has many possibilities for enhancing it.
Humans’ unique nature and their ability to ask questions give creativity its true meaning.
In today’s digital world, where information spreads instantly, it’s crucial to innovate with awareness. Students must develop the ability to adapt to change, learn continuously, and collaborate across disciplines.
Imagination builds bridges between ideas. Imagination transforms challenges into opportunities. Use technology to create. Encourage others to use it too.
Following this, Philip Rose Hull, Director of International Student Services at the University of Central Missouri in the United States, Rajagopal Gururajan, Professor of Information Systems at the International Institute of Engineering and Technology, Springfield Campus, University of Southern Queensland, Australia, and Raj Srinivasan, Associate Professor of Mathematics and Statistics at a Canadian university, spoke. The seminar was attended by VIT Vice Chancellor Kanchana Bhaskaran, Director of International Relations Srinivasan, Deputy Director Raghuram, and foreign representatives.
