Talasani Srinivas Yadav: Kaleshwaram HC Verdict a Slap on Government

Hyderabad: Former minister and BRSLP deputy floor leader Talasani Srinivas Yadav said that the High Court verdict in the Kaleshwaram case is like a slap in the face to the government. He was speaking at a media conference organized at Telangana Bhavan.
He criticized that if you spit on KCR like Medha Parvatham, it will fall back on the Congress leaders. He said that KCR is the leader who led the Telangana movement under the leadership of KCR with the tag line of water, funds and appointments and achieved Telangana.
He reminded that the world’s largest lift irrigation project, Kaleshwaram, was built so that farmers would be happy in the Telangana that came.
Medigadda is a barrage in the Kaleshwaram project. He said that Kaleshwaram means 100 components, and Medigadda barrage is one of them. He alleged that Rahul Gandhi and Revanth Reddy had jointly spread misinformation against him, saying that if two pillars in Medigadda collapsed, there would be a corruption of one lakh crore rupees. He said that if L&T came forward, they would repair the two pillars that collapsed in Medigadda. He questioned why NDSA and SLBC, which had come on the wings of the storm when Medigadda collapsed and 8 people died, did not come.
It was stated that lakhs of acres were irrigated through the Kaleshwaram project, and the highest amount of paddy was produced in Telangana state through the Kaleshwaram project. The Center itself was surprised to see the amount of paddy produced. Finally, the Center raised its hands and said that it could not buy paddy.
It was revealed that Revanth Reddy was not the administration’s fault, but that people from all walks of life were angry with the government.
Srinivas Yadav alleged that conspiracies are being hatched to privatize the RTC
. He questioned why the Congress party, after coming to power, is not implementing the promises made to the RTC workers. He said that during the BRS regime, the cabinet took a decision on the problems of the RTC workers and sent the file to the governor to resolve them,
and then the BRS lost power in the elections.
They demanded that the DGP should answer the police notices issued to the tent house operators in Tandur town of Vikarabad district for not providing tent materials to RTC workers. They questioned whether Revanth Reddy, who went to Delhi, was having breakfast with NDA alliance leaders and whether there was any room for real Congress leaders in Telangana. MLA Mutha Gopal, BRS Khairat Bad in-charge Manne Govardhan Reddy, former corporation chairman Vasudeva Reddy, and former BC Commission member K. Kishore Goud participated in this meeting.
