Maruti Suzuki’s fourth quarter net profit declined by 1%

New Delhi New Delhi: Auto major Maruti Suzuki India on Friday reported that its net profit in the fourth quarter (March 2025) declined by 1 per cent to Rs 3,911 crore, as against Rs 3,952 crore in the same quarter last year. The main reason for this decline is high expenses.

The total revenue of the company stood at Rs 40,920 crore, as against Rs 38,471 crore in the fourth quarter last year. Expenses increased to Rs 37,585 crore in the fourth quarter from Rs 34,624 crore last year.

The company reported a net profit of Rs 3,711 crore in its standalone position, as against Rs 3,878 crore in the same quarter last year. Maruti Suzuki sold 6,04,635 vehicles, its highest sales in a quarter. Domestic sales grew by 3 per cent and exports by 8 per cent, leading to a 3.5 per cent increase in total sales.

The company’s net profit for the full financial year 2025 stood at Rs 14,500 crore.
