Hyderabad: Chadarghat inspector suspended for negligence in theft case

Hyderabad: Hyderabad Police Commissioner C V Anand on Friday suspended the inspector of Chaderghat police station for negligence in duty. Inspector M Raju had allegedly shown negligence in the matter of property recovery in a theft case. According to sources, the inspector had recovered a bike from a property offender and submitted it to the court. However, the police handed over the bike to someone else without the court order. After the matter came to the notice of senior police officials, an inquiry was conducted and Inspector Raju was suspended. Brahma Murari has been appointed as the new inspector of Chaderghat police station.
