Three killed as speeding car falls into ditch on Delhi-Dehradun highway

Uttar Pradesh: A horrific road accident shocked residents of Meerut district on Tuesday morning. A speeding car lost control and fell into a deep ravine near the Sakauti Overbridge on the Delhi-Dehradun Highway. Three of the four friends travelling in the car died on the spot, while one youth was seriously injured.
The accident erupted in chaos. With the help of local residents and police, the four youths trapped in the car were rescued. The seriously injured youth was immediately rushed to the hospital, where he is undergoing treatment.
Friends were returning to Delhi from Haridwar after bathing in the Ganges
According to reports, the young men in the car were returning to Delhi after bathing in the Ganges in Haridwar. As their car approached the Sakauti Overbridge in Meerut on the Delhi-Dehradun Highway in the morning, the vehicle suddenly went out of control.
According to eyewitnesses, the car was moving at a high speed. The driver lost control, and the car fell into a deep ravine along the roadside.
The accident was so severe that the car was completely destroyed. The vehicle was completely damaged, and the occupants were severely trapped.
Locals launched a rescue operation
