However, Vikrant has recently responded to this controversy. He has recently denied the news that came on social media that he is quitting acting permanently. He clarified that it was mistaken for retirement because he said what was on his mind very briefly, which is not the real thing.

Vikrant explained that he was under severe work pressure due to making films without a break for the past few years, and that working hard for almost 16 hours a day had left him physically and mentally exhausted. He said that in this context, as a husband and father, he felt the need to give quality time to his family, which is why he decided to take a short break from films. He also said that this time is necessary to further improve his acting.
