Union Minister Amit Shah to visit Trichy today
Tamil Nadu: Union Home Minister Amit Shah is arriving in Trichy on Friday for a two-day visit. He will interact with party members on the election situation.
Union Minister Amit Shah will fly from Delhi to Trichy on Friday night to attend a BJP public meeting in Karaikal on Saturday. He will stay overnight at a private star hotel near the Trichy District Collectorate and fly from Trichy to Karaikal on Saturday morning. After completing the public meeting, he will return to Trichy in the evening and fly back to Delhi.
Meanwhile, Union Ministers Piyush Goyal, L. Murugan, Tamil Nadu BJP leader Naina Nagendran, and senior party leaders are expected to participate in an Entrepreneurs Meet and Greet event at the Srimad Andavan Arts and Science College in Thiruvannaikaval, Trichy, on Saturday.
Amit Shah is expected to interact with party members during his visit, as Union ministers and BJP officials will also be camping in Trichy.
This consultative meeting will be held on Friday night or Saturday morning. No official information has yet been released regarding the participation of AIADMK leaders.
Drone Ban for 2 Days: Flying drones on roads and around the airport in Trichy, where the Union Home Minister will visit, has been banned for two days, Friday and Saturday.
District Collector V. Saravanan has warned that strict legal action will be taken against those who violate the ban and fly drones and other unmanned aerial vehicles.
