Farmers’ interest in oil palm cultivation: Minister Ponnam Prabhakar

Minister Ponnam Prabhakar inspected the Narmeta Oil Palm Factory on Saturday. Later, he spoke at a media conference.. The oil palm factory here was started by Tummala Nageswara Rao.

They are planning to start an oil palm factory in every district. Although oil palm factories were proposed in the past, Tummala Nageswara Rao allocated Rs. 300 crores and completed the work. He said that the oil palm factory will be very useful for the farmers of this region.

The farmers of this region should focus on oil palm. Tummala has brought out the misconception that oil farm crops cannot be grown in our region. The farmers here are showing interest in oil farm cultivation. In view of natural disasters, the farmers are also asking the farmers of this region to cultivate oil palm. The minister thanked Tummala for bringing this oil factory to fruition.
