Deputy Sarpanch beaten up in a meeting, police made 3 people accused

Durg. A case of assault on Deputy Sarpanch Gopendra Kumar Sahu (36 years) of Gram Panchayat Nikum under Anda police station has come to light. On the complaint, the police have registered a case against Chintamani Sahu, Rupendra Sahu, Dinesh Sahu. Gopendra told the police that about 20 people in the village collectively collect money.

On the night of June 25, around 8.30 pm, all the members were sitting in Bhatapara market and doing the accounts. Chintamani, who lives in the village, is also a member of the committee. He has taken money on loan from the committee. During the meeting, a discussion was going on with Chintamani about the return of money. He got angry about this. Along with Rupendra and Dinesh, he started abusing and beating him.
