Bhubaneswar Matriculation exams begin today.

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Board of Secondary Education will conduct the 2026 Matriculation Examination across the state from February 19 to March 2. A total of 561,989 students, including candidates from the State Open School Certificate stream, will appear for the examination this year. To ensure a smooth conduct of the examination, the board has set up 3,082 examination centers and 322 nodal centers across the state.

Fifty centers have also been designated for answer sheet evaluation. All nodal and examination centers will be under 24-hour security cover and CCTV surveillance. Authorities have strictly prohibited mobile phones and other electronic devices from entering the examination centers. School and Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond stated that all arrangements have been made to conduct the examinations smoothly and transparently.
