Tamil Nadu: O. Panneerselvam welcomes Rs 5,000 given to women

Tamil Nadu: Former Chief Minister O. Panneerselvam said he welcomes the government’s decision to give ₹5,000 as a right to women in Tamil Nadu.

After arriving at Madurai Airport to fly to Chennai on Monday, he told reporters:

We welcome the fact that the Tamil Nadu government has given ₹5,000 as a right to women. He said that if women expressed a different opinion, they would get angry.

When reporters asked when the alliance would be announced, O. Panneerselvam said, “Be patient.”
