Daily wage worker dies due to electric shock

Illendu: A daily wage worker carrying out electrical repair work in the town died after being electrocuted. On Wednesday, Kuncha Uday, a young man from Marrigudem, who was carrying out electrical repairs in the seventh ward of Illendu Municipality, accidentally climbed onto an electric pole.

He suffered an electric shock and fell from there, causing serious head injuries. The staff immediately rushed him to the Illendu Government Hospital in a 108 vehicle, where doctors examined him and declared him dead. The deceased is survived by a wife and son. The police have registered a case and are investigating.
