One Die Two Seriously Injured In Road Accident In Mailardevpally

An Innova car caused a road accident in Mailardevpally in the city. One person died and a father and son were seriously injured when the car ran over people sleeping on the footpath.

At around 5 am on Wednesday, an Innova car (AP09 BP 9444) that was speeding lost control and crashed into a shed at Durganagar. It ran over the people sleeping in it. In this accident, a young man named Deepak (25) died on the spot. His father Prabhu Maharaj (60) and Satthunath (27) were seriously injured. On receiving information, the police reached the spot and took up rescue operations. The injured were shifted to Osmania Hospital. The victims were identified as residents of Madhya Pradesh. The police said that the accident took place while they were going towards Santoshnagar from Shamshabad. Meanwhile, it was revealed that three people in the car that caused the accident have been arrested, while three others are absconding.
