BJP cannot handle AIADMK as easily as Nitish Kumar’s party: T. Thirumavalavan

Tamil Nadu: Liberation Tigers of Tamil Nadu leader Th. Thirumavalavan said that the BJP will not be able to handle the AIADMK as easily as it did Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in Bihar.
After meeting party members on the Dindigul bypass on Saturday while traveling from Tenkasi to Erode, he told reporters:
Seat-sharing talks between the Congress and DMK will be easily resolved. Periyar Evera’s picture has been removed from the venue where the BJP meeting is being held in Madurai. Similarly, former Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami should ensure that pictures of Anna and Jayalalithaa are not removed.
BJP leaders say they will turn Madurai into Ayodhya. But the BJP should understand that Madurai is in Tamil Nadu, not Uttar Pradesh. The people of Tamil Nadu will not allow it to become Ayodhya. There is no place for communal politics in Tamil Nadu. Murugan’s life and history demonstrate that Tamil Nadu is a place of social harmony. The number of seats the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Nadu will receive in the DMK alliance will be announced after discussions. We will contest the upcoming assembly elections on our party symbol. Naina Nagendran says that after the assembly elections, BJP members will become ministers. We hope Edappadi Palaniswami will not allow this to happen.
The BJP cannot easily handle the AIADMK or DMK in Tamil Nadu, as it handled Nitish Kumar in Bihar. The AIADMK has its own distinct character. The BJP cannot easily swallow and digest the AIADMK.
Former Chief Minister O. Panneerselvam was not even considered a basic member of the AIADMK. That is why he has joined the DMK. His arrival will strengthen the DMK alliance. The DMK and AIADMK are not movements with different policies. As far as policy is concerned, both parties have the same stance, he said.
