Arunachal: Security forces pulled out vehicle from deep ditch

Khonsa: The 44th Assam Rifles Battalion with the help of 36th Battalion of CRPF pulled out a pickup van which had fallen into a deep gorge near Khonsa town of Tirap district.

The incident took place on a rain-soaked road and the rescue operation proved to be highly risky due to unstable terrain despite efforts by local residents.

The villagers immediately sought assistance from Assam Rifles.

The security forces responded promptly and rushed a recovery unit to the site and through professionalism, teamwork and technical skills pulled out the vehicle without any damage or risk to life.

The local community expressed gratitude for the timely and selfless assistance, highlighting the enduring bond between Assam Rifles and the people of the Northeast.
