Bathery Highway robbery: Two more arrested, 9 arrested so far in the case

Kerala: Two more people have been arrested in connection with the case of an armed gang that stopped vehicles on the national highway at night, created a terror-stricken atmosphere, and robbed passengers by beating them. Police arrested Ravindran (64) of Paditathil Thamula, Chavara, Kollam, who helped the accused, Suhas, escape from police custody and cut his handcuffs with a gas cutter. He is a welding worker. Nine people have been arrested in connection with the case. The incident occurred on the night of November 4th. A man from Kozhikode and his driver were returning to Bengaluru from a business trip when they were chased in two vehicles. They created a terror-stricken atmosphere and assaulted them near the Kallur 67 Bridge. The vehicle, laptop, tablet, mobile phone, bags, etc. were stolen. The vehicle was later found abandoned.
