Tamil Nadu: Attention Chennai City Bus Passengers

Tamil Nadu: Due to a technical glitch, electronic ticket machines on Chennai city buses will not be issuing tickets for a short period of time.

A post published on the Chennai Metropolitan Transport Corporation’s X-site stated that the electronic ticket machines (ETMs) on Chennai city buses have developed a technical glitch.

Due to this, e-ticketing has been temporarily suspended. Therefore, services such as UPI, NCMC cards, the Chennai One app, debit and credit cards cannot be used.

It has also been stated that until the issue is resolved, only printed tickets will be issued.
