Tamil Nadu: Chief Minister Stalin garners votes at Namakkal farmers market

Tamil Nadu: Chief Minister Stalin, campaigning for the Assembly elections, gathered votes at the Namakkal Uzhavar Market.
With just six days left for the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, electioneering is in full swing. Chief Minister Stalin, AIADMK General Secretary and Leader of the Opposition Edappadi Palaniswami, TDP leader Vijay, and Naam Tamilar Party Chief Coordinator Seeman are among those campaigning vigorously. The Chief Minister and DMK President Stalin are campaigning door-to-door across the state to garner votes and support for DMK and alliance party candidates. As part of this effort, Chief Minister Stalin visited the farmers’ market on Namakkal Fort Road.
He gathered votes from the farmers and the public in support of DMK candidate P. Rani.
The farmers shared their problems and grievances with the Chief Minister. Some rural farmers offered him fruits and congratulated him. Afterward, he shook hands with the people and headed to the restaurant where he was staying to seek support. The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister will hold a public meeting in support of Secular Progressive Alliance candidates in Namakkal district at 5 pm on Thursday at Bommakuttai Hill on the Namakkal-Salem National Highway.
Present during the vote collection event were Minister Ma. Mathivendan, District Secretary K. R. N. Rajeshkumar MP, P. Ramalingam MLA, and administrators and volunteers.
