Tamil Nadu: Deputy Chief Minister personally inspected rain relief work

Tamil Nadu: Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin personally inspected the ongoing rain relief work in the Greater Chennai Corporation area on Tuesday.
He inspected the work of draining out rainwater with large motor pumps in Thandayarpet zone, Mullai Nagar, Kodambakkam and Rangarajapuram areas.
Earlier, a review meeting was held at the Ripon Malligai Meeting Hall of the Greater Chennai Corporation on rescue and relief work in the rain-affected areas. Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin, who attended the meeting, said that immediate action should be taken to drain out the rainwater. He ordered officials to repair the roads without causing any inconvenience to the public and motorists.

Paranthaman, Additional Chief Secretary of Special Projects Implementation Department Pradeep Yadav, Deputy Mayor M. Kumagurubaran, Management Director of Chennai Drinking Water and Drainage Board D.G. Vinay, government officials, council members and others were present.
