Tamil Nadu: Rain likely for two days in Western Highlands districts

Tamil Nadu: The Chennai Meteorological Department has forecast light rain in the western highlands districts of Tamil Nadu on Monday and Tuesday (March 2 and 3).

Northern weather is expected over the rest of Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal. Subsequently, light rain is likely at one or two places in the coastal districts of South Tamil Nadu and the western hill districts from Wednesday (March 4) to March 7.

Chennai and Puducherry will experience partly cloudy skies on Monday. There will be light fog at one or two places in the early morning. Fog: Light fog will occur at isolated places in the western highland districts and coastal areas of Tamil Nadu on Monday and Tuesday morning. Rainfall: In Tamil Nadu, the highest rainfall of 30 mm was recorded in the Kuruthancode area of ​​Kanyakumari district in the 24 hours ending at 8:30 am on Sunday. Rainfall was reported.
