Tamil Nadu: Wave of grief over Bharathiraja’s demise.
Tamil Nadu Tamil Nadu: Deep condolences have been expressed in the politics of Tamil Nadu on the demise of well-known director of Tamil film industry Bharathiraja. Leaders of various political parties remembered his contribution and described his demise as a great loss to the Tamil film industry.

With his passing an immortal flame has been extinguished, but his art and light will continue to inspire generations to come. Vaiko said that the brilliance of his work and films will be remembered for centuries.
