Tanker driver dies, breathless after being hit by a bike
Korba: Kewal Das, a resident of Makhanpur in Darbhanga district of Bihar, died in a bike collision in Korba. It is being told that he used to work as a tanker driver in Indian Oil Corporation. He died in the accident while crossing the road. The whole matter is of District Hospital Chowki area.
According to the information received, Kewal Das (30) was going to his home after parking the tanker at IOC Terminal Gopalpur. Meanwhile, a bike rider coming at high speed hit him, due to which Kewal Das fell on the road. He remained lying on the road soaked in blood.
During this time, passersby hurriedly took Kewal Das, who was soaked in blood, to NTPC Hospital, where he was referred to a private hospital after primary treatment. Kewal Das died here after some time. The deceased’s friend Naresh Das said that he had suffered a serious head injury. A lot of blood had flowed from his head. Kewal Das’s wife and children live in the village. He had come here for the last 2 years to earn a living. He used to drive a tanker while living in a rented house in Gopalpur.
