Teacher burnt alive while traveling in car, incident happened due to short circuit
Korba. A massive fire broke out in a moving car in Korba. During this time, the teacher died due to burning alive in the fire. It is being told that the car kept burning for hours. The car was burnt to ashes from all sides. The matter is of Chachiya village of Kartala police station area.
According to the information received, the car was passing through Ludkheta locality when the car caught fire. The deceased was a resident of Chaal police station area of Raigarh district, whose name is Jagatram Behera (39), a teacher. Jagatram was driving the car himself. The fire broke out due to short circuit.
It is being told that as soon as the car caught fire, the driver was trying to somehow get out of there, but got stuck in the vehicle due to his seat belt. He died on the spot due to the fire. Kotwar of the village informed about the accident to Kartala police station in-charge Inspector Ashish Singh. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot. Scene of Crime Unit officer Dr. Satyajit Singh also reached the spot along with the staff.
