In a video going viral on social media, a school teacher is seen sleeping in the school premises after getting inebriated. This incident again raises questions on the image of the education department of Chhattisgarh.
In recent times, many cases of indiscipline and irresponsible behavior by teachers of Chhattisgarh have come to light. Videos of many of these incidents have gone viral on social media, which are tarnishing the credibility of the department. The latest case is of a government school in Durgukandal, where this act of the teacher came to light.
It is being told that this teacher adopted a very shameful way for his alcohol consumption. On the occasion of Cherchera festival, school students had collected paddy from the people of the village. This paddy was kept safe in the school premises. But the teacher sold this paddy and bought liquor and remained lying in the school in a drunken state.
