Teacherless school, Students’ studies are getting affected

Mahasamund. In many schools of Chhattisgarh, there is still no adequate arrangement for teachers. Before starting the education session, the education department had made claims of having adequate teachers in the schools. But many schools are still teacherless. Due to non-availability of teachers in Jevra Higher Secondary School, Basna of Mahasamund, students are lagging behind in the course. Education is getting affected due to non-availability of teachers. In protest, the students protested by locking the school.

The agitating students told about their problems that there is a shortage of teachers in the school for the last 5 years. There are no teachers for subjects like Geography, Biology, Chemistry, Hindi, Politics and Economics. Due to which the studies of the students are getting affected. Even after demanding teachers from the officers many times, the hearing is not happening. Because of this there was an agitation. The students remained adamant on not opening the school until the demand of the teacher was met. While persuading the children, the Block Education Officer, who came on the notice of lockout in the school, talked about making arrangements for teachers in the school soon.
