Teen Named In Goa Thar Crash Case Local Claims Of Seat Swap To Save Woman Driver

A Thar in Goa collided with an oncoming Hyundai i20 on Monday. An elderly man died in the incident, while another woman was seriously injured. Another child was also injured. However, one issue related to the incident has now become controversial. Another young man has admitted that he drove in place of the girl who was driving. Locals are alleging that driver swapping took place in the incident.

There are allegations that the young man may have done this to save the girl who was driving. The police arrested 19-year-old Shaurya Goyal, who is said to have been driving in this incident, and he was released on bail within an hour. Last Monday, four young women and a young man rented a Thar vehicle in Goa. It seems that a girl was driving this Thar. She was driving recklessly and at high speed, and she hit an oncoming car. In this incident, an elderly man died, while a woman and another child were injured. The police have registered a case in this incident. According to eyewitnesses present at the time of the incident, a young woman was driving the vehicle. However, another young man took her place in the driving seat immediately after the accident.

With this, there are allegations that the young man swapped the driver’s seat to save the young woman. The police have also named Shaurya Goyal as the main accused in the case as the driver. He was arrested by the police on Wednesday and released on bail within an hour. The police have seized the Thar vehicle involved in this case. They are collecting evidence with a forensic team. Meanwhile, the police have denied the allegations that the young woman drove the Thar.
