Telibandha police action, one caught with 90 liquor
Raipur. Naresh Chauhan, accused of illegally consuming liquor, has been arrested. Information The team of police station Telibandha received information that a person in Subhash Nagar Devarpara under police station Telibandha has kept liquor illegally for sale. On which Additional Superintendent of Police City/Crime Abhishek Maheshwari and City Superintendent of Police Civil Line Manoj Dhruv directed Police Station Incharge Telibandha Inspector Faizul Shah to catch the accused red-handed with liquor.
On which, under the guidance of senior officers and under the leadership of police station in-charge Telibandha, the team of police station Telibandha went to the said place and arrested the person told by the informer. During interrogation, the person told his name as Naresh Chauhan resident of Devarpara Telibandha, Raipur. On searching the bags kept with him by the team members, liquor was found in the bags. On demanding valid documents from Naresh Chauhan regarding possession of liquor, the team members were constantly being misled by him by not presenting any document of any kind. On which the team arrested the accused Naresh Chauhan and kept it illegally from his possession, after seizing a total of 90 pauva country liquor worth about Rs 10,000/- against the accused in police station Telibandha, crime number 438/23, Section 34(2) of the Excise Act.
