The accused was drunk, stabbed to death
New Delhi. A man was stabbed to death and two others injured by a drunken man in Delhi’s Sunlight Colony area. A police officer gave this information on Wednesday. The officer said that at around 11.15 pm on Tuesday night, a police patrol party saw the accused stabbing the victims near the fish market in the area. The patrol party immediately nabbed the accused. The accused was identified as Harsh, a resident of IG Camp, Sunlight Colony. During interrogation, it was revealed that Harsh had stabbed three persons, who were first admitted to Jeevan Hospital and later to AIIMS Trauma Centre.
22-year-old Sajid, a resident of Sangam Vihar, died during treatment at the hospital, while Mayank and Sahil are undergoing treatment. The officer further said that preliminary investigation has revealed that Harsh and Sajid had a fight over a minor issue. In a state of intoxication, Harsh took out a knife and started attacking everyone. A case of murder has been registered and the knife has been recovered.
