Sirsa (Haryana): A case of attack on a jeweler in broad daylight has come to light in Preetnagar of the city. It is being told that the attacker who entered posing as a customer injured the shop operator Ram Gopal by stabbing him in the stomach and fled from the spot. After the attacker left, injured Ram Gopal somehow came out of the shop and informed the neighbor. After this, the injured Ram Gopal was taken to a private hospital and the police was informed about the incident. After getting information about the incident, DSP Jagat Singh, city police station in-charge Pradeep Kumar along with his team reached the spot and started investigation. Finger print team was also called to the spot to collect evidence.
DSP Jagat Singh said that investigation has been started in the matter from the angle of robbery and old rivalry. At present the injured is not in a condition to give statement. Only after the statement is recorded, information about the number of people who entered the shop and the damage caused, and the real reason behind the attack, will be known. CCTV cameras installed nearby are also being checked. He said that after receiving the information, the police reached the spot. Right now it cannot be said whether this is a robbery or the incident has been carried out due to some old enmity. Investigation was started in the matter. Evidence is being collected from the shop. CCTV will also be examined. The situation will be clear only after the statement of Ram Gopal, who was injured in the incident, and after that further action will be taken.
