Korba: In Korba district, two brothers riding a bike became victims of a road accident while trying to save a cat. One brother died in the accident, while the other brother was seriously injured. After the postmortem of the deceased youth was done, the body was handed over to the family members on Tuesday. The matter is of Darri police station area.

According to the information, Ajay Chauhan (24), a resident of Banwari Basti under Bankimogra police station area, and his brother Sanjay Chauhan (18), both were coming to Korba on a bike to do shopping for Rakshabandhan. During this time, he became victim of a road accident on the Darri-Lata main road. Actually, suddenly a cat came in front of his bike, while trying to save it, the bike went out of control and collided with the pipeline on the roadside.

Ajay Chauhan died on the spot in the accident, while seriously injured Sanjay is undergoing treatment in the hospital. Deceased Ajay Chauhan was a peon in NTPC contract company. Darri police station said that after conducting Panchnama of the body, it was sent for postmortem. At present the investigation of the case is going on.
