The command of elections in two assemblies of Raipur is in the hands of women.

The Master Trainer was satisfied with his precise and correct answers and also appreciated him. This scene was during the training of polling teams in NIT. The women taking training here were full of enthusiasm, because this assembly election of the district is going to create a new history in the elections of the state. The two assemblies here will be in charge of women. Here, the election work will be entrusted to women from top to unit. It is north and west in the assembly. In fact this is a scenario of women empowerment.
State Election Commission is setting up special booth Sangwari centers to motivate women voters to vote and to encourage women. All the booths in the North and West Assembly constituencies of the district are being converted into Sangwari polling stations. There are 18 sectors in North Assembly. There will be women officers in 01 sector. A total of 265 polling stations will be handed over to 1,600 women officers. Presiding Officer in 265 booths, women officers-employees will be deployed at all places in polling number 01,02,03. That means there will be 265 presiding officers and 795 polling officers. The most important thing is that the Chief Observer of this Assembly is 01 woman IAS officer, Mrs. Vimla R. Besides, his Liaisoning Officer is also a woman. Besides, more and more women police forces are also being deployed. Here, from checking the voting slip to getting ink on the finger and getting the voting done with signature in the register, only women will be seen.
Preparations are also being made to completely hand over the responsibilities of the Western Assembly to women officers. There are 15 sectors and 201 polling stations. Here also there will be 01 sector female officer. Also, there will be 804 women officers in the booths, of which 201 will be presiding officers and 603 will be polling officers. Collector and District Election Officer Dr. Sarveshwar Bhure said that this time women are being fully deployed for election work in 02 assembly constituencies, North and West of the district. He said that it is commendable that women officers and employees always discharge their responsibilities seriously. Efforts are being made that wherever their duty is posted, including the polling station, basic facilities will be provided to them, so that they do not face any problem.
It is noteworthy that training of polling parties took place on 26th and 27th October, in which women workers engaged in election work took training. Sangwari polling stations are being built in all seven assemblies of the district, the details of which are as follows – 10 in Dharsiwa assembly number 47, 10 in Raipur rural assembly number 48, 265 in Raipur West assembly number 49, Raipur North assembly number 50. 201, 10 Sangwari polling stations have been made in Raipur South Assembly Number-51, 10 in Arang Assembly Number-52, 10 in Abhanpur Assembly Number-53.
