The couple cheated 25 lakhs from the young man to get a job, both absconded
Durg. A couple took Rs 25 lakh from a young man in the name of getting the job back in Bhilai Steel Plant, a unit of SAIL. When he could not get a job, the young man asked him for money. For not returning the money, the young man has filed a case of cheating against the couple at Newai police station. Navi TI Mamta Ali Sharma told that Swaraj Malik (39 years), resident of Ashish Nagar Risali, has filed a fraud report. He told that till March 31, 2022, he was working as senior manager in Bhilai Steel Plant. He then resigned from the plant job in search of a better job.
During this, he met Ajay Chauhan, an operator cum technician working in BSP, and his wife Lahinna. He had said about having a good hold in BSP when his acquaintance was more. Swaraj told him that he wanted to rejoin his job in BSP. On this the couple claimed to get his job back and cheated him of Rs 25 lakh 32 thousand.
Swaraj told the police that when they could not get jobs, she asked them the reason for the delay. On this they started giving evasive answers. After several months passed, he asked them to return the money. On this, he started making excuses today and tomorrow. As soon as Swaraj realized the fraud, he went to the Newai police station and lodged a complaint about the matter. Police has registered a case and started searching for the couple.
