The drains were blocked due to the shopkeepers, the SDM got the bulldozers running

Saraipali. Saraipali SDM took major action against the encroachers. Encroachment removed from Jai Stambh Chowk, the heart of Saraipali, to Padampur Road, Gurunanak Chowk. Along with the team of Police Department and Municipal Administration was also present, complaints were being received for a long time that rain water is entering the shops and houses of the people, the main reason for this is the encroachment of the people on the drains made for drainage and drain jam. Cleanliness could not be done due to this.

For which today the joint team of the local administration launched a campaign to remove the illegal encroachment on both sides of the drains from Jaistam Chowk to Padampur Road by installing JCB machine, during the proceedings there was a slight scuffle with some people but the administration No one went ahead of the action and the administration’s action continued till late night. SDM said that complaints were being received continuously that rain water is not being drained and people have encroached on the drains.

Due to which the drains are not being cleaned and people are suffering a lot, after which today action has been taken to make the drain free from encroachment, on the question of where further action will be taken, the SDM said that nothing can be said now.
