The idol of the mother reached the pandal, Kanwar Navratri starts tomorrow

The festival of Navratri is starting from tomorrow. The idol of the goddess was brought to her court from the sculptors’ place with full reverence and devotion to the beats of drums. About 70 percent of the idols of the goddess have reached the pandals. The remaining idols will arrive today.

Talking about Durg district, here the idol of the goddess is placed in more than a thousand pandals, including small and big idols. Most of the idols come from Thanaud village. Here 70 percent of the idols are made in potter houses. Talking about the big idols, there are more than 50 idols, to see which the whole city reaches there. Talking about Bhilai, this time the idol made by the hands of Thanaud and Bengali sculptors will be seen here. Shambhu Jaiswal, President of New Star Sarvajanik Shri Shri Durga Puja Utsav Samiti, said that they have been installing the idol of the goddess for many years. They bring the idol made by the hands of Bengali artists.

This time he has got the idol made by the sculptors in Bhilai township. Similarly, the huge statue of the mother goddess situated next to the cantonment police station has also been made by Bengali sculptors. This statue is quite huge in the form of Mahisasur Mardini.
