The lover who went to meet his girlfriend was beaten to death
Muzaffarpur (IANS) | A young man had to pay the price of his life by giving his life to meet his girlfriend in Benibad Sub-station area of Muzaffarpur, Bihar. It is alleged that the family members of the girlfriend caught the young man and beat him to death.
According to the police, Sonu Sahni, a resident of Mahuara village, had gone to Kanta village on Monday night with two-three friends to meet his girlfriend.
The relatives of the girl got to know about Sonu’s arrival. The relatives tried to catch all the youths. During this Sonu was caught, but the friends accompanying him managed to escape.
It is alleged that the family members of the girl beat Sonu fiercely with a stick, due to which he died.
After this, the dead body was thrown in the sub-stream of Bagmati river. When people saw the dead body on Tuesday morning, it was informed to the police.
Muzaffarpur (East) Deputy Superintendent of Police Manoj Pandey said that the police reached the spot and took the body in their custody and sent it to the hospital for postmortem, the whole matter is being investigated.
He told that some people are being interrogated in this matter by taking them into custody.
