The mayor announced to give free firewood for the last rites

Durg. Durg Municipal Corporation, under the guidance of MLA Arun Vora, announced that Mayor Dhiraj Bakliwal will give free wood and firewood at the time of funeral, according to the general meeting of the budget, it has been started from today. During the last rites, the family of the deceased will get coffee facility due to the supply of wood and sticks free of cost to all sections. The benefit of the scheme will be given to the family of the deceased resident of Municipal Corporation Durg.

In view of the problems faced by the poor people by the Mayor Dheeraj Bakliwal, providing free wood and sticks shows his vision and thinking in the public interest. The Municipal Corporation has issued a work order in this regard by issuing a tender. 2200/- will be spent on each dead body during cremation. For cremation, 3 quintals of wood and 200 pieces of Kanda are being made available free of cost.

Arrangement of wood and pot will be kept by the contractor in Shivnath Nadi Muktidham, Harnabandha Muktidham. Urla, Raipurnaka, Potiyakala Muktidham at the remaining places will be made available immediately on demand as per requirement. This facility for the last rites will be arranged at 5 Muktidham of Durg Municipal Corporation area.
