The new generation came forward to take over the legacy in the elections

Patna: All the parties in Bihar have put in their strength to gain lead in the Lok Sabha elections. While most of the parties have taken great care in the selection of candidates to gain their lead, many parties have also fielded candidates who are trying to carry forward their political legacy. Such candidates are also trying their best. To handle the political legacy of RJD President Lalu Prasad, his sons Tej Pratap and Tejashwi Yadav are already active in Bihar politics, now his two daughters are also contesting in the Lok Sabha elections. Lalu Prasad’s daughter Misa Bharti is once again in competition with BJP’s Ramkripal Yadav from Patliputra parliamentary constituency. In the last election, Ramkripal had defeated Misa Bharti. Lalu Prasad’s second daughter Rohini Acharya has also started her political innings from this election. In this election, he is competing against BJP leader and former Union Minister Rajiv Pratap Rudy on Saran seat. Lalu was MP from Saran in 2004 and 2009. Rohini’s mother Rabri Devi had lost the elections from here in 2014. Rohini is contesting elections for the first time. Here, LJP (Ram Vilas) chief Chirag Paswan is also trying his luck in the election from Hajipur this time to make Hajipur, the workplace of his father late Ram Vilas Paswan, his workplace. Paswan is currently an MP from Jamui. Ram Vilas Paswan was a nine-time MP from Hajipur. Meanwhile, to take over the political legacy of late Munilal, former Union Minister and Sasaram MP, BJP has fielded his son Shivesh Ram from Sasaram. At present, Chhedi Paswan is the MP from here, whose ticket has been canceled by the party this time. Former MP C.P. Thakur’s son Vivek Thakur is also trying his luck in the election field from Bhumihar-dominated Nawada this time. Here, to handle the political legacy of JDU leader and Bihar minister Ashok Chaudhary, his daughter Shambhavi Chaudhary is on the front from Samastipur. Recently, JDU leader Maheshwar Hazari’s son Sunny Hazari has joined the Congress. It is said that Sunny can contest elections from Samastipur. By the way, this is not the first time in Bihar that sons and daughters have entered the electoral fray to take over the political legacy of their father. Many current MPs are also carrying forward their father’s political legacy. In this election, many parties have not yet announced candidates for all the seats under their quota. Voting is to be held in all seven phases of Lok Sabha elections in Bihar. In such a situation, even though sons and daughters may be fighting in the election field to take over the legacy of their father, whom the voters allow to carry forward the legacy will be known only after the election results are declared on June 4.
