The person who embezzled Rs 2 lakh is out of police custody

Janjgir Champa: A case of snatching has come to light from Janjgir Champa. Here, Rs 2 lakh cash kept in the trunk of the bike was stolen in broad daylight. A complaint about the matter has been made in the Kotwali police station. Police is searching for the accused in this case with the help of CCTV footage.

This entire matter is of Kotwali police station area of Janjgir Champa. Dadu Ram Sahu, resident of Ward 19 of Irrigation Colony of the city, reached Janjgir on Friday after withdrawing Rs 2 lakh from Baloda Co-operative Bank. Here Daduram kept his scooter in front of the house and went inside the house to drink water. As soon as Daduram came back after drinking water, he noticed that the money was missing from the trunk. After the money went missing from the bike, Daduram informed the Kotwali police. After receiving the information the police reached the spot. Police questioned the local people about the incident. After this, the Kotwali police started scanning the CCTV footage installed at the incident site. At present, the police is busy searching for the accused with the help of the footage. Meanwhile, in this case, Deputy Superintendent of Police Anil Soni has said that the accused will be arrested soon. Also, people have been appealed to be aware about such incidents.
