Now the mood of winter is mild in various parts of the state including Kolkata. This season will continue for now. The minimum temperature in and around Kolkata in the third week of November is expected to be around 18 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature of the city on Friday will be around 18 degrees. The maximum temperature will be around 28 degrees. Alipur Meteorological Department said that there will be cloudless bright sky and strong winds, however, the Meteorological Department has not clarified whether winter has entered or not.

In some other districts of South Bengal, the temperature may fall by 1 to 2 degrees during the next 2-3 days. However, winter weather will persist in North Bengal. Among the above mentioned five districts, mild cold is also going to be felt in Konkan. In the western districts of South Bengal, Purulia, Asansol, Burdwan, Bankura, Birbhum, the minimum temperature is hovering around 15 degrees. There is dense fog in the morning. Winter mood will also persist. Overall, the sound of arrival of winter has started in entire Bengal.
