Theft case lasted for 33 years, now the court awarded this punishment to the accused

This was the case of theft in the house of Mahadev Prasad, resident of Mohalla Bechu Baba of Ikauna police station area, in 1990. The thief entered the house and stole goods worth about Rs 50 thousand including clothes, utensils and Rs 500 in cash. On the complaint of Mahadev, a case of theft was registered in Ikauna police station on 15 November 1990. During the investigation, the name of Surajlal of the locality came up. The police arrested Suraj and sent him to jail, who got bail after three months. The case was pending for 33 years. The police argued under Operation Conviction, after which the court convicted the accused on Thursday.
