Theft in courier delivery office, police arrested the accused
Janjgir-Champa. The police have arrested an accused of theft in the courier delivery office located in Sindhi Colony of the district. Search is on for the second absconding accused. 1 lakh 64 thousand 480 rupees were stolen from the locker of the courier delivery office. The case is of Champa police station area.
The manager of the courier delivery office told that he went to his home on June 5 after locking the office. When I came to the office on June 6 morning, I saw that the lock of the shutter was broken. Here there were 1 lakh 64 thousand 480 rupees in the locker, which were missing. Champa police station registered a report in the matter.
During the investigation, the suspect Avinash Yadav (21 years) came to know from the informer. After this the police arrested him from Bhojpur Champa’s house. During interrogation, he along with another accomplice told to carry out the incident of theft by tying a mask on his face. The accused told that he had buried the stolen money in the ground. Rs 1 lakh and bike, hammer, screwdriver, palas and mobile used in the incident have been recovered from accused Avinash.
