Balodabazar (Chhattisgarh): A shocking case has come to light in the district collector’s office. Here, a truck full of sand parked in the premises seized by the Mineral Department has gone missing. Now the Mineral Officer has informed the police station that the truck is missing and has requested to trace it. The matter is of Kotwali police station area.

According to the information received, the Mineral Department had seized a truck filled with sand near village Pangaon and brought it to the collector’s premises, which has gone missing. It is not yet known who took this truck. Not only is it raising a question mark on the action of the Mineral Department, it is also raising a question mark on the security arrangements of the Collectorate premises as to how this truck went missing during the election code of conduct. Besides, the negligence of the Mineral Department is also coming to light. In this regard, Kotwali police station in-charge Amit Tiwari said that an application has come from the Mineral Department that a truck full of sand has been taken away by an unknown person. This is being investigated. At present the truck has not been found yet.
