Theft News: Goods worth lakhs stolen from inside the school, 2 minors arrested
Pamgarh: Pamgarh. Police has caught two teenagers who stole a computer set from Government Higher Secondary School Mudpar (Churetela) School. Both were presented in the Juvenile Court and sent to Child Protection Home Korba. The case is of Pamgarh Police Station. Principal of Government Higher Secondary School Mudpar (Churetela), Amrit Bhargav closed the school at 11 am on May 12 and went home. After this, when he came to school on May 13 at office time, he saw that the lock of the small door attached to the main gate of the school was broken.
When he went inside the school, the lock of the computer room was broken. An unknown person had stolen the CPU, monitor, keyboard and mouse kept inside the room along with Rs 80,000. He lodged a report in the police station on which the police registered a crime under Section 454, 380 of the Indian Penal Code and took it into investigation. The incident spot was inspected and the unknown accused and the stolen items were being traced. Meanwhile, information was received from an informer that two teenagers were looking for a customer to sell a stolen computer. Both were caught and questioned. They confessed their crime. Police presented both of them in the juvenile court from where they were sent to the child reform home in Korba.
