Theft of lakhs of rupees at farmer’s place, police started investigation on complaint
Janjgir-Champa. In Dudga village of the district, unknown thieves made away with goods worth more than Rs 1 lakh, including cash and jewelry from a farmer’s house. Thieves have stolen from 2 boxes kept in the farmer’s house. The matter belongs to Pamgarh police station area.
According to the information, the farmer Sadhu Ram Patel went to sleep with the family after having dinner at night. Meanwhile he forgot to lock the shutter in front of the house. Unidentified thieves took advantage of the shutters being open at night and entered inside the house. The accused opened two boxes kept in the room and fled away with Rs 50,000 in cash and jewelery worth more than Rs 50,000.
On Tuesday, people saw 2 open boxes and scattered goods at some distance from the house of farmer Sadhu Ram Patel. After this he informed the farmer about this. The farmer reached the spot and identified both the boxes. The victim informed the Pamgarh police station about the theft of cash and jewelry. Police reached the spot and searched around the house. Police have registered a case against unknown thieves.
