Theft worth lakhs from businessman’s house, accused arrested
New Delhi : In the northern district of the capital, on the night of 29 November, a person Rahul lodged his complaint at Lahori Gate police station. In which he accused his 32 year old servant Ashok Kumar of absconding with a bag full of money. Despite extensive searching, no trace of servant Ashok was found. Ultimately the accused Ashok was arrested by the police from Chandpa area of UP. North District DCP Manoj Kumar Meena said that this has come to light during the interrogation of the accused.
To meet the needs of his family, he first worked as a servant in houses. Then later he broke his boss’s trust and ran away with a bag containing Rs 17.5 lakh. The police arrested the accused from Chandpa area of UP. Police have also recovered a bag full of money from the accused’s rented house in Loni. At present, the police has arrested the accused and sent him to jail and is busy investigating the case. Let us tell you that the complainant Rahul is a fertilizer and seed businessman in Church Mission Road area. On the basis of the complaint of the victim, Lahori Gate police station registered a case against the accused and started investigating the matter.
Also, a police team was formed to search for the accused. The police team started working to investigate the accused on the basis of his phone number and details received from the businessman. The police reached the accused with the help of technical surveillance. The police team arrested the accused from Chandpa police station area of Hathras area of UP. On his information, the police team also recovered a bag containing Rs 17 lakh from a rented house in Loni area. During police interrogation, the accused told that he was working at a fertilizer and seed shop near Rahul for the last 5 years.
His family is big. I was not able to meet the needs of the family with the salary of Rs 10,000 received from the shop. Rahul was going home with her after closing the shop at around 8 pm on 29th November. While taking the car from the Church Mission parking, Rahul gave her a bag full of money and himself went to the parking lot to take the car. According to the information received from the police, the accused planned to run away with a bag full of money as soon as he got the opportunity and switched off his mobile. With the bag full of money, he reached his rented house in Loni and from there reached his native Chachpur with his family. Went from where the police arrested him on 1 December. Police are also investigating the previous criminal records of accused Ashok.
