New Delhi. American space agency NASA has revealed that there are 17 more planets like Earth, where life is possible. Because there is sufficient amount of water there. All these planets are outside our solar system. There are icy oceans on some planets. Where there are geysers. Some have oceans above the surface. Some have oceans beneath the surface. NASA scientists have studied the geysers present on these planets. Geysers means such ground holes from where water comes out like a fountain. When pressure builds up beneath the surface of the icy ocean due to freezing or melting of water, they start gushing out like fountains. Sometimes they are several hundred meters high.
Scientists all over the world are searching for habitable places on planets outside the solar system i.e. exoplanets. That means habitable zone. This zone can be underwater or on the ground surface. But the most important thing for life is the presence of water. Water is present on these 17 planets, that too in the form of ocean. There are many exoplanets whose surface is very cold. Therefore there is an ocean of water beneath the ground surface. Many have icy seas. Like our Jupiter’s moon Europa and Saturn’s moon Enceladus, both of these moons have oceans beneath the earth’s surface. But they also melt due to the gravitational pull of neighboring planets and the heat of the nearby planet. There is hope from the oceans present below the land surface that there will be life inside them. That is, such biological particles which are necessary for the origin and growth of life. There are hydrothermal vents on the lower surface of these seas, from where these organic particles get energy and nutrition.

Dr. Lynn Quick, scientist at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center, said that according to our analysis, there are icy oceans on these 17 planets. In which there is every possibility of life. These oceans receive heat from the interior of the planet. That is, due to the destruction of radioactive substances. Also, heat is provided by the flow of internal waves coming into the sea. Dr. Lin said that due to internal heat, cryovolcanic explosions sometimes occur on these planets.
That means icy volcanoes erupt. Which we treat like a geyser. This study has recently been published in the Astrophysical Journal. After studying thousands of exoplanets, we have currently found these 17 planets suitable for life. These 17 planets are around the size of the Earth. There is enough light, water and snow here. There are stones. Their actual composition is still being ascertained. But we have already got information about so many things. But all these planets are colder than Earth. Which shows that there is an icy ocean above or below the surface. Who are allowing life to flourish.
