There was a rise in the stock market today
Stock Market: There has been a big jump in the Indian stock market on the first day of the week i.e. Monday. The Indian stock market has gained momentum due to active buying of shares of banks, midcap and smallcap companies. In today’s session, BSE Sensex closed at 64,958 with a gain of 594 points. Whereas Nifty NSE closed at 19,415 with an increase of 185 points.
Due to buying in banking shares, Bank Nifty closed 301 points higher at 43,619 points in today’s trading. In today’s trading, indices of Auto, IT, Pharma, FMCG, Metal, Energy, Infra, Healthcare, Oil and Gas sectors closed with gains. In today’s trading, only PSU Bank Index and Consumer Durables Index closed in the red. In today’s trading, the index again closed with gains due to buying in midcap and smallcap stocks. Of the 30 Sensex stocks, 26 closed with gains and 4 with losses. Whereas out of 50 shares of Nifty, 44 shares closed with gains and 6 shares closed with decline.
There has been a tremendous increase in the wealth of investors due to the spectacular rise in the stock market. Market capitalization of shares listed on BSE is Rs. Rs 318.17 lakh crore against Rs. Was Rs 315.17 lakh crore. The market capitalization in today’s trading is Rs. There has been an increase of Rs 3 lakh crore.
