There was a stir due to the collapse of the gallery of Blast Furnace-6 in Bhilai Steel Plant.

Bhilai. The gallery of Blast Furnace-6 of Bhilai Steel Plant collapsed at 6 am on Thursday. There was a commotion on the spot when the gallery suddenly collapsed. It was the time of shift change, hence no major injury occurred. As soon as information about the incident was received, senior officials of the department reached the spot.

Its construction work will be started soon. Bhilai Steel Plant management has been struggling with the production of hot metal for a long time.

Production was just getting back on track when a new problem emerged again. The gallery of Blast Furnace-6 has collapsed and collapsed, due to which the production is sure to be affected. Before this, BSP was facing technical problems, which have been gradually resolved. The daily production of the plant has increased from 8 thousand to 12 thousand tonnes. It took almost two months for BSP to reach this figure.
