There will be no liquor sales in Kerala on these days next month; government issues notice

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM : Liquor will not be sold in the state on the day of voting and counting for the local self-government elections. In the seven districts where the first phase of voting is taking place, the liquor sale will be prohibited from 6 pm on December 7th until the end of voting on the 9th. This ban will apply to Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Idukki, and Ernakulam districts. Rapper Vedan shifted to intensive care unit, Doha event postponed.
In areas where the second phase of voting is taking place, the liquor sale will be prohibited from 6 pm on the 9th until the end of voting on the 11th. This ban will apply to Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur, and Kasaragod districts. December 13th, the counting day, will be a dry day across the state.
