These Bollywood stars will add glamor to the opening ceremony of IFFI 2023

Bollywood stars Shahid Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit will perform at the star-studded opening ceremony of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa, where actors Sara Ali Khan, Pankaj Tripathi and Vijay Sethupathi will also unveil the first looks of their upcoming films. ,
The 54th edition of the film festival will begin on November 20 with a ceremony held at the Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Indoor Stadium in Panaji. Actors Aparshakti Khurana and Karishma Tanna will host the inauguration ceremony, where Shriya Saran, Nusrat will also perform. Bharucha.

Dixit, who was honored with the Indian Film Personality Award at IFFI last year, will perform a medley of her chartbuster songs. Johar and Sara along with the team of Ae Watan Mere Watan will unveil the first look of the thriller drama. Sukhwinder Singh will sing the inspiring title track of the film during the showcase.

Ae Watan Mere Watan narrates the journey of Usha Mehta, who started an underground radio station, Congress Radio, during the Quit India Movement of 1942, which broadcast uncensored and even banned news for a few months. Tripathi, Moitra, Ghoshal and Taba Chake will present the crime-thriller Kadak Singh directed by Anirudh Roy Chowdhury. Tripathi said, “IFFI Mahotsav has always provided a platform for inspiring stories and storytellers who expose corruption and clean up the system, thereby inspiring and empowering us.”

Young star Sethupathi will launch the trailer of black comedy Gandhi Talks, a silent film also starring Arvind Swamy, Siddharth Jadhav and Aditi Rao Hydari. The festival will also be attended by Michael Douglas and his actor-wife Catherine Zeta Jones, Salman Khan, Vidya Balan, Ayushmann Khurrana, Anupam Kher, Vicky Kaushal, Sidharth Malhotra, AR Rahman and other celebrities.

The closing ceremony on November 28 will be led by Ayushmann Khurrana and renowned musician Amit Trivedi. With his performance, Ayushmann will pay tribute to Douglas, a recipient of the Satyajit Ray Lifetime Achievement Award. Trivedi will host a special presentation of Sounds of India with a medley of his superhit songs.

A special performance evoking nationalistic enthusiasm will be performed by the Harmony of the Pines Orchestra of Himachal Pradesh Police. Viacom Media Pvt. Ltd. is the exclusive media and broadcast partner of the opening and closing ceremonies for the second consecutive year and will telecast them on Colors channel and OTT platform JioCinema.
